Repurposing is always a enjoyable project for me. Whenever I am out and about, my thoughts races with various ways I can use and make issues that I see and appreciate. Coming up with inventive methods to make functional pieces from cast offs in your household, attic and garage is something I am passionate about and I am Standard Furniture often excited to share my newest creation with you here. This time around, I am sharing the cutest repurposed wood planter concept.

When this wood planter idea came up, I had tons of concepts, but I truly wanted to use issues I already had and factors that have been in my “stash” for a long time.
This tiny bench has been in our garage for over Standard Furniture a year.
As I was cleaning out the garage to get ready for our spring yard sale, I pretty much place a price tag tag on this bench. Then, I came across some pots I picked up on clearance last year. The bench was the great size to fit three of the pots and my Upcycled Planter project was underway.

Supplies employed to make this Repurposed Wood Planter:
“Heirloom” Fusion Mineral Paint
Thompson’s Water Seal
To turn this ugly brown bench into a spring planter, we turned the pots upside down and traced around them.
Then, we measured inside that circle to make a smaller circle. This guarantees the pots fit inside, but don’t fall via.
To reduce the holes out, we 1st drilled a hole in every one.
Then, we made use of the jigsaw inside the drilled holes to reduce the circles out.
