Do you hang on to Willa Arlo Interiors factors because you know there is some thing fabulous you can do with them……… someday? We have a neighborhood yard sale twice a year and I appreciate finding rid of all the excess, but I always have these things that pull at my “repurposed-crazed” heart that I just can’t part with. I had two bushel baskets that were amongst the “have to retain pile”. I never got rid of them because I seriously wanted to come up with a project to use them on. Ultimately, last fall, a light bulb went off and they were place together to make a DIY Fall Decor Tutorial of a bushel basket tier!
I had been storing the bushel baskets for years in my garage. They match so effectively collectively. 🙂
Final fall, I was trying to incorporate them into my fall decorating when my light bulb went off. Wouldn’t they be cute stacked on best of a single another to make a tiered basket? Not being aware of if it was possible, I talked it over with Matt and he mentioned it need to be easy to do. (I love these words.)

Next, we secured the bottom of the dowel to the base of the larger basket. Once again, we applied wood, cut to match inside the basket, lag bolts and washers.

Given that we had the washer and Willa Arlo Interiors lag bolt on the bottom of the bigger basket, Matt told me that I would want “feet” below the larger basket to make it sit up straight and stable. I immediately believed of the stash of wood knobs we had in the garage. They had been the identical color of the baskets so they wouldn’t stand out and they were the ideal size to make “feet” for this piece. They worked terrific!

Now, it was time to make them even much better.
