Nowadays, I am back with a project for DIY Decorative Hooks.
A handful of weeks ago, I shared my DIY Recycled Bathroom Organizer and this week, I am sharing some hooks that could also be employed in the bathroom.
We did a little bathroom makeover beneath $50 awhile ago. (Searching back on that post, it is funny to see all the adjustments I have produced to the bathroom due to the fact then. It is just the way things roll around here.)
The garden rake I employed in that makeover for hand towels was not functioning so I made a towel hook from a piece of Orren Ellis old barn wood and a hook from Hickory Hardware instead.
These Orren Ellis DIY Decorative Hooks have been inspired by that hook.
Soon after my grandma passed away, we were going by way of her residence and I found these pictures. Of course, I loved the white distressed frames and knew I could do a thing with them.
Supplies used to make DIY Decorative Hooks:
- White eight吆″ Rustic Frames (uncover comparable frames here)
- Hooks: (I located some excellent ones here)
- Picture Hanger (we like our image hanger kit for projects like this)
- Dewalt Drill
- Heavy Duty Stapler or Staple Gun (a different favourite DIY tool)
- One thing to fit inside your frame (I added blue wood slats I had left over from a different project. The Orren Ellis slats were the ideal size for these 8吆″ frames.)
The 1st issue I did was remove the paper off the back of the frames. Then, I removed the glass and the photographs. Then, we cut the blue wood slats to fit inside the back of the frames and I used my stapler to attach them. Lastly, we screwed the hooks to the middle of the blue slats.
I didn’t want all three hooks to be the same, so I went via my stash of treasures I have picked up right here and there and found this old faucet and metal plate. Matt was able to make them perform as a hook.

The black hooks give the farmhouse frames an industrial vibe.

I couldn’t be additional content with how these turned out. I am usually satisfied when a project you assume is going to be straightforward, seriously is AND it comes out greater than you imagined.

These hooks could be applied for so several things. Exactly where would you use them? What would you hang on them?
When we place these decorative hooks together, we had about 5 other projects going on. The weather is obtaining nicer and we are in full DIY mode about here. I am excited to share all the points we have been functioning on.
On a side note, yard sale season is about to be in complete swing around right here. Woop! Woop! I post a lot of photos of my finds on Instagram and Facebook. Make sure to adhere to me there to see all the projects I come across this season!
